For students 6 years old and under, I offer ISR Self-Rescue™ lessons. Students 7+ qualify for ISR or Traditional lessons. Students that are fully skilled in ISR Self Rescue™ may qualify to sign up for Refresher, Maintenance or Stroke lessons. Read below to find out more.
Infant Swimming Resource’s Self-Rescue™ program, teaches children, generally from 6 months to 6 years of age, how to survive if they were to reach the water alone.
ISR™ Roll Back To Float Lessons for children 6-24 months: child will learn to roll onto their back to float, rest and breathe, and to be able to maintain this lifesaving position until help arrives.
ISR™ Swim-Float-Swim Lessons for 1-6 year old Child: child will learn the swim-float-swim survival sequence: swim with their head down; roll onto their back to float, rest, and breathe; and roll back over to resume swimming until they reach the side of the pool, where they can either crawl out or until they can be rescued.
Students older than 6 years old may also participate in ISR lessons if desired.
Students attend lessons Monday-Friday for ten minutes each day for 6-8 weeks.
Lessons for children who have already completed the full ISR set of swim-float-swim lessons ONLY.
Students must have completed ISR SWIM FLOAT SWIM lessons in the last 6 months - 1 year to register for these lessons
lessons enable the children to "refresh" the skills that they have already learned.
Skills are not new to the children
usually take approximately 2-3 weeks.

Lessons for children who are able to demonstrate the swim-float-swim lessons ONLY.
Lessons are typically done on a weekly basis.
Lesson duration and frequency vary
For students showing hesitation or lack of confidence in performing the skills mastered in ISR lessons.
Time slots are very limited.

Available for students 7+ years old.
Some skills that we will practice include, but are not limited to: general understanding of water safety for both students and parents, breath control, the beginnings of rolling back to float and the swim-float-swim sequence, turning to grab the wall and pulling themselves out of the water onto the deck.
These lessons are NOT ISR LESSONS and therefore do not offer the same guarantees with regards to skill mastery within one session. However, they do offer more flexible schedule and pricing.

Students must be able to demonstrate the "swim-float-swim sequence".
Stroke lessons will include, but are not limited to, practicing 2-4 swim strokes, practicing beginner dive techniques and swimming down to retrieve toys
Students may be new to strokes or may want to perfect existing stroke skills.
